It was a sunny weekend in June when the best mountain bike riders from all over the world gathered at the Innsbruck Bike Park. The scenery was breathtaking, rugged mountains, a brand new slopestyle course and a vibrant city in the valley. It was the starting signal for Crankworx Innsbruck 2024, a mountain bike event that made the hearts of fans beat faster.

The seventh edition of Crankworx Innsbruck returns to Bikepark Innsbruck. Located in the heart of the Austrian Tyrol and surrounded by mountains on all sides, the city of Innsbruck is an ideal place for cycling, hiking and trail running. The city’s bike park, Muttereralmpark, is transformed every year for the Crankworx festival. Outside of the festival, the Muttereralmpark features six trails, including the Nordkette singletrack, one of the steepest and most difficult in Europe.

The seventh edition of Crankworx Innsbruck returns to Bikepark Innsbruck. Located in the heart of the Austrian Tyrol and surrounded by mountains on all sides, the city of Innsbruck is an ideal place for cycling, hiking and trail running. The city’s bike park, Muttereralmpark, is transformed every year for the Crankworx festival. Outside of the festival, the Muttereralmpark features six trails, including the Nordkette singletrack, one of the steepest and most difficult in Europe.
The new Crankworx slopestyle course was challenging with steep descents, spectacular jumps and new trick possibilities. The riders fought for every meter while the spectators cheered on the side of the track. A spectacular show of flips, spins and grabs. The riders flew through the air, their wheels rotating in all directions. It was like a dance on the bike, elegant, powerful and incredibly impressive.
But it wasn’t just the competition that made Crankworx Innsbruck so special. It was the community, the passion and the joy of biking. The riders exchanged tips, helped each other inspect the course and celebrated their successes together. The fans applauded not only the winners but everyone who dared to descend the course.
Dawid Godziek takes slopestyle victory at Crankworx Innsbruck 2024
The eagerly awaited event in Innsbruck was unbelievably exciting, as the best mountainbike athletes in the world were in top form and delivered a top-class show. Dawid Godziek was once again unstoppable on the men’s slopestyle course. After the last years win, he got it again. „I´m so happy that i did it again. I trained hard all year long for this event and gave my best. You know how they say, hard work pays off!“
Bye bye Innsbruck
We witnessed 8 years of incredible riding on this amazing location in the middle of the Alps but sadly this was the last event because the land of Innsbruck bike park is sold and new hotel will be built. It’s bittersweet to bid farewell to Crankworx Innsbruck after eight incredible years, but exciting things lie ahead!
Bye bye Innsbruck
